ANNUAL ATHLETE MEMBERSHIP FEE
All athletes enrolled in classes at Rochester Gymnastics Academy are required to maintain an Annual Athlete Membership.
The current membership fee is $63 per athlete, per year, and is charged upon enrollment and renews annually on the athlete’s anniversary date.
During enrollment the Annual Athlete Membership fee will automatically be added for athletes who do not have an active membership.
The Annual Athlete Membership includes:
• Athlete insurance coverage required for participation
• One ROGA uniform (choice of designated leotard or practice shirt and shorts)
• Access to member discounted rates for Open Gyms, Camps, Clinics, Kids Night Out, and other events
Because the membership provides insurance and benefits for each individual athlete, the fee is charged per athlete and not per family.
The Annual Athlete Membership requirement does not apply to High School Gymnastics athletes or Adult Gymnastics participants.
TUITION AND PAYMENT
Recreational and Preschool Classes
Recreational and preschool classes are billed by session. Each session includes 12 classes, and tuition is due at the time of registration.
Families who need a payment plan for session tuition may contact the front desk or email [email protected]. For approved payment plans, the Annual Athlete Membership Fee, if due, must be paid in full at registration, along with the first one-third of session tuition. The second one-third is due during the second month of the session, and the final one-third is due during the third month of the session. These payments will be automatically run via payment method on file. If payment fails, a 5 day grace period is given. If payment is not received at that time, student will not be able to attend the remainder of classes.
Team Gymnastics
Team gymnastics tuition is billed monthly and is automatically charged on the 1st of each month using the payment method on file.
A valid payment method must be kept on file for all accounts. If a payment cannot be processed, the balance must be resolved promptly. ROGA reserves the right to update tuition rates, billing procedures, or program structure as needed.
Sibling Discount
ROGA offers a 10% sibling discount for additional enrolled siblings, where applicable. Some programs, fees, or special events may be excluded.
MAKEUP POLICY
If an athlete must miss a scheduled recreational or preschool class, families may request a make-up class through the front desk.
Make-up classes:
• Must be scheduled by contacting the front desk (they cannot be scheduled through the parent portal)
• Are subject to available space in appropriate classes
• Are limited to two (2) make-up classes per session
If a suitable make-up class is not available for a family’s schedule, ROGA may provide an Open Gym pass in place of the make-up class, when available.
Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and are not guaranteed due to class capacity limits.
Make-up classes are not offered for Team Gymnastics.
There will be NO prorated tuition or refunds for missed classes for any reason, including scheduled holidays or other days the gym is closed (those days are already built into the session schedule for recreational and preschool classes).
ENROLLMENT & DROP PROCEDURE:
PARENTS MUST NOTIFY THE OFFICE TO DROP A STUDENT FROM CLASS.
Tuition secures your athlete’s spot in class and is not based on attendance.
Enrollment continues until a drop request is submitted.
Recreational and Preschool Classes
Recreational and preschool classes are enrolled by session. If a family needs to withdraw from a session, a minimum of 30 days notice is required.
Withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing by email ([email protected]) or postal mail.
If proper notice is provided, the remaining unused portion of the session tuition will be issued as an account credit.
Credits may be applied toward future ROGA programs, classes, or events. Cash refunds will not be issued.
Team Gymnastics
Team gymnastics withdrawal policies follow the guidelines outlined in the ROGA Team Handbook.
A minimum of 30 days written notice is required to withdraw from the team program.
Because team tuition is billed monthly, the following applies:
If the 30 day notice period extends into the next billing cycle, the next full month of tuition will still be charged.
Example:
If withdrawal notice is submitted on February 5, tuition for March 1 will still be billed.
The following fees are non-refundable at the time notice is submitted:
• Meet entry fees
• Team membership fees
• Uniforms and competition leotards
Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE provided 30 days or more in advance.
If a student stops coming to class without proper written notification then that student’s account will continue to be charged. This charge will be for holding the student’s place in that class instead of offering that place to one on a waiting list.
WHAT TO WEAR
Athletes are encouraged to wear their ROGA issued uniform to class. The uniform provided through the Annual Athlete Membership is designed for safe movement and participation in gymnastics activities.
Girls
• ROGA leotard
• Other practice leotards are also acceptable
• Fitted athletic shorts or leggings may be worn over a leotard if preferred
Boys
• ROGA issued shirt and athletic shorts
• Other fitted athletic clothing suitable for gymnastics may also be worn
Clothing Safety Guidelines
For the safety of athletes and protection of gym equipment:
• Clothing with zippers, buttons, or snaps should not be worn during class
• These items may damage equipment or pose a safety risk to athletes
• An exception may be made for infants and toddlers wearing onesies with snaps at the crotch
If an athlete arrives wearing clothing that is not safe for participation, ROGA may provide loaner apparel such as a leotard, shirt, or shorts for use during class.
Hair & Accessories
• Long hair should be tied back securely
• Large bows, headbands, hair clips, or other bulky hair accessories should not be worn during class
Personal Belongings
ROGA provides student locker areas where athletes may leave bags and personal items during class.
Private restrooms are also available if a parent needs to assist their child with changing.
This facility’s staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name. Lost & Found is located in the admin hallway to the right of the front desk.
ARRIVAL AND PICKUP
Athletes should arrive 5–10 minutes before class to allow time for check-in and preparation.
To ensure safety and smooth class transitions:
• Athletes should remain with their parent or guardian until their class begins
• Athletes should be picked up promptly when class ends
• Parents should notify the office if someone different will be picking up their child
ROGA staff are responsible for athletes only during scheduled class times.
Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student.
Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car.
During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.
GYM SAFETY & SUPERVISION
For the safety of all athletes:
• Only registered athletes are allowed on the gym floor – Per Safesport guidelines, parents are not allowed inside the main gym entrance – only exception is upon emergency.
• Siblings must remain in designated waiting areas
• Athletes should follow coach instructions at all times
Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in removal from the activity.
